Dean Schmitt has over 12 years of experience across real estate, private equity, and investment advisory. At ERES Capital Schmitt helps manage and lead the newly launched investment and development platform. Before joining the ERES team, he was Managing Partner and Co-Founder of Third Wave Development, a real estate investment and development firm focused on hospitality, healthcare and education markets. Prior to that, Schmitt was COO and Partner at Campisano Capital, a hospitality focused real estate development and construction firm located in Louisville, KY, New York, NY and London.
Previous investment experience includes Swift River Investments, a family private equity office founded in 2005 by the James family. In addition, he worked with the founding team at Tyton Partners, a leading education, media and information services firm, helping grow their private equity, investment banking and strategic consulting divisions.
In aggregate, Schmitt has completed over 35 transactions worth over $700 million in enterprise value.
