Michael Lapporte is a seasoned commercial real estate professional with over 20 years of experience across acquisitions, dispositions, development, brokerage, investment sales, strategic partnership integration, and complex property financing for both debt and equity. He has extensive background spanning distressed and stabilized assets, including hospitality, retail, industrial, mixed-use, multifamily, and office properties.
Since joining ERES Capital in 2021, Michael has played a crucial role in identifying new investment and development opportunities across the firm’s core verticals and cultivating new strategic partnerships to execute Company objectives. His strong background in deal sourcing, development analysis, investment underwriting, and oversight of third-party development partners has been instrumental in driving successful projects nationally.
Michael spent seven years in the securities industry in wealth management for private and institutional investors prior to entering the commercial real estate industry & attainment of his MBA in Real Estate/Finance. Prior to ERES, Michael spent fifteen years working with several prominent investment and development companies, brokerage firms and in mortgage banking. His extensive relationships with capital partners, global hotel brands, institutional and private lenders and hotel management companies have been invaluable in supporting ERES Capital’s continued growth.
