A seasoned finance and commercial real estate leader, Michael Lapporte will provide strategic direction for firm investments
DENVER, CO – October 14, 2021 – ERES Capital LLC, the full-service investment and development division of ERES Companies (ERES), has announced that veteran finance and commercial real estate executive Michael Lapporte has joined the firm as Vice President of Acquisitions. In this role he will focus on procuring existing assets and new development projects across a variety of opportunistic investments.
Based out of the Denver, CO office location, Lapporte will initially concentrate on the acquisition of existing real estate investments in the Rocky Mountain Region, with a strong focus on the Colorado and Arizona markets. The focus shall expand nationally as more assets are acquired. In addition to his acquisition and development roles, other duties will include due diligence, potential joint venture partnerships, fund creation, capital formation and property underwriting.

Prior to joining the ERES Capital team, Lapporte has broad ranging professional experience having spent seven years in the securities industry and over 15 years in the commercial real estate sector. He has worked in commercial brokerage, property development, acquisitions, dispositions, and financing. In total, Lapporte has completed over $1 billion in enterprise value of transactions to date.

Born and raised in northern California, Lapporte received his undergraduate degree with a double major in Finance and Marketing from the University of Denver, and also completed his master’s degree in Finance/Real Estate from the institution’s Daniels College of Business.
